Lighter, Faster & Stronger Aerospace Components

Amongst the engineering polymers and composites printed at Infraprint are those of PEEK, PEKK and PEI, with have exceptional mechanical, thermal and chemical performance. PAEK materials are coveted for their high strength to weight ratios, making them perfect for light-weighting.

Our TRAAM technology provides savings on weight and materials waste through enhancing the materials mechanical properties. Enabling new functionalities.

Our patented TRAAM process enables us to achieve 3D printed parts exhibiting more homogeneous properties, in addition to higher mechanical strenghts.

Space

Utilising polymers such as PEEK, PEKK and PEI with carbon or glass reinforcement allows us to manufacture ultra-lightweight parts to replace heavy and bulky metallic components. These polymers can resist the harsh conditions of space whilst reducing your crafts weight.

Infraprint has experience in contract manufacturing of space components, with an emphasis on lean, rapid manufacturing of lightweight polymers and composites, increasing your payload to orbit and beyond.

Ultra-Lightweight Components

Pharmaceuticals

Infraprint is the first company internationally to successfully 3D printed pharmaceutical reactors which combine mixing elements,  pressure control valves, as well as a liquid / liquid separation system in a single system.

The thermal and chemically resistant of these PEEK reactor design can be tailored to meet the needs of the chemical reaction being carried out. Burst tests in simple geometries of 20 minute duration, have successfully demonstrated the ability of the reactors to operate at pressures of up to 60 bar (6 MPa).
